NOAA Weather Radio Audio Available on the Internet - NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) channels are now available online as either streaming audio or MP3s and podcasts. Though National Weather Service (NWS) offices are not hosting live streaming audio, many third parties do so and the NWS maintains a list here.

Survey Results

Harvard School of Public Health's Project on Public and Biological Security has released results from a recent survey of states along the US coast prone to hurricanes. Results are provided in a summary and also by state. A survey done by Citizen Corps reveals that almost one-third of Americans admit they have done nothing to prepare for an emergency. To access the full survey results and report, click here
