Volunteer Your Time
Communities need support from both trained professionals and volunteers willing to help out during a disaster. Contact
your local Emergency Management Coordinator and/or humane organization to find out about the Animal Issues Committee or other
way you may be of service to your community during a disaster. Getting involved ahead of time assures the ability to obtain
training, credentialing, and accountability.
Register for an Upcoming Event
Register for an event published on the Upcoming Events page. There are educational and fun opportunities for involvement. Check often for new postings.

Prepare Your Family (and Animals, too!) Develop your emergency plans
and disaster kits before the emergency happens! Plans and kits are effective ways
to protect your family, animals, property, and business.

Make a Donation or Become a Sponsor
Help us continue to provide our valuable, no-cost resources by contributing to our program - even a few dollars mean
so much. TXSART is only able to continue its important work through your donations and grants from other charitable organizations.
And remember, your contributions are tax deductible.

Shop AND Surf the Web! Everytime you shop or search the web, use Goodsearch. A portion
of the advertising money they earn is donated directly back to the charities registered. Just desginate the Texas
Veterinary Medical Foundation as the nonprofit and start searching - and shopping. About one penny is earned for every
search and anywhere from 2% up to 20% of total purchases from qualifying vendors as long as you start through the Goodsearch
page. Who ever said "money for nothing doesn't exist?!
